| Job Description: | Senior Business Analyst needed to utilize broad technical, business and industry knowledge to identify client needs for quantitative analysis. The Sr. BA will create relevant solutions for clients and develops methods or processes for implementation. Provide guidance to others and takes project lead on a short-term basis. Previous experience in direct marketing in the financial services sector (Credit Card or Insurance) is preferred.
Address and analyze marketing programs using the following tools and techniques:
• Predictive statistical models, Customer profiling, Segmentation Analysis,
• Data Analysis and Mining, Data Enhancement
• Break-Even Analysis
Assist in presenting ideas and findings to future and existing clients
Evaluation and improvement of internal tools and processes
REQUIREMENTS
• 2 or more years experience in quantitative arena, preferably in database marketing
• Ability to apply statistical techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression to business problems.
• Strong SAS skills are required, including ability to manage data using BASE SAS and SAS MACRO and to use SAS STAT procedures. SQL is recommended.
• Strong written and oral presentation skills; experienced team player
• Strong problem solving; takes initiative and ability to work both independently and in teams
• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Marketing or related quantitative field required
