Provides direction and manages the work processes and output of quantitative marketing team. Develops and/or communicates strategy to implement the objectives of the organization and its clients and guides others in linking their activities to the objectives. Evaluates client needs for quantitative analysis. Takes lead role in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients and in developing proposals for implementation. Responsible for P/L of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing the appropriate DBM solution for many of our Fortune 500 clients
Responsible for executing and delivering this DBM solution on time and on budget
Responsible for leading, managing and coaching a high performing quantitative marketing team
Responsible for P/L and growth of the team
Responsible for delivering world-class solutions that have a direct impact on our clients ROI
Managing the day-to-day and week-to-week priorities of our clients and their solutions
Providing thought leadership around quantitative marketing
Developing proposals and responding to RFPs
Establishes pricing for new initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in Statistics or related quantitative field required
Job Experience: experiences in quantitative arena and direct marketing industry
Quantitative Skills:
Strong analytical skills
Statistical modeling skills using credit data and compiled demographic data
Hands on experience in building, implementing and validating predictive marketing models
Strong hands on experience in SAS programming
Management and Leadership Skills:
Substantial experiencing around the three core areas of leadership:
o Managing producing consistent results, day-in and day-out
o Leading creating the future
o Coaching empowering others to produce breakthrough results
Client and prospect management skills
Project management skills
Experience in dealing with senior managers both internally and externally
