| Job Description: | This individual will be an invaluable consultant to all departments by using tools such as Coremetrics to provide actionable data, observations and recommendations to departmental leaders, including marketing managers, website managers, strategic directors, product merchandisers and corporate executives. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development.
The goals for this individual include:
* Developing an in-depth understanding of all Web analytics tools used by our site, and of the data produced by those tools
* Working closely with the technical department to ensure accuracy in the data collection methods, and to implement future enhancements to data collection and tagging
* Managing the relationships with Coremetrics and other analytics providers
* Devising and monitoring key business metrics
* Through detailed campaign ROI and conversion analysis, providing guidance and recommendations to help the online partnership managers evaluate existing and potential online marketing relationships
* Improving Website conversion and customer experience by providing actionable customer behavior and clickstream data, and recommendations based on that data
* Providing insight, recommendations and analysis of Website enhancements, and A/B testing of those enhancements
Required Experience:
Required skills include:
* Strong analysis skills combined with ability to translate and summarize complex industry data into useable marketing and merchandising action items.
* An in-depth understanding of Internet retail, with 3 years of experience in Internet retail or Internet marketing preferred
* Experience in direct marketing
* Expertise with a Web analytics package (Omniture, Websidestory (HBX), Coremetrics) a must
* Experience or strong interest in apparel or fashion retail
* Strong listening, communication and management skills
