Job Description:This particular position is focused on maintaining and delivering insights from our WebTrends analytics platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of reported data, clearly communicating the methodologies and proper uses of each measurement, and optimizing our implementation to meet business needs. You will also work closely with other team members in the production of reports that draw on data from a variety of other internal tools.

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Work with business colleagues to understand their reporting needs, build reports to meet the requirements, and work with colleagues to make sure the reports are properly interpreted and used.
• Work with analytics team members and WebTrends Technical Account Manager to configure, test, and implement WebTrends reports, templates and profiles according to specifications.
• Work with developers, project managers, and other analysts to troubleshoot the application (report configuration) and implementation (tagging consistency).
• Serve as internal subject matter expert on the reporting tools and metrics by providing information on best practices, benchmarks, key performance indicators, etc. Identify data discrepancies and resolve data integrity issues.
• Communicate clearly, in charts, text, Powerpoint and oral presentations.
• Provide training on how to interpret and use data for business analysis.
• Create and maintain configuration documentation.
• Manage user rights.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field (computer science, statistics, business, marketing, communications, etc).
• Must possess a strong understanding of online metrics, implementation and terminology.
• Experience implementing and using a tagging-based Web reporting tool; WebTrends strongly preferred
• Must be very detail oriented. Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of website design, development, and usability including HTML, JavaScript, web servers, log files, etc a must.
• Understanding of how web analytics data can be applied to business needs.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• A collaborative and cooperative nature with a good sense of humor.
