Building account pipeline and managing to a corporate financial goals
Driving the new business process from initial lead to signed contract
Identifying high value growth opportunities and developing tailored client acquisition strategies
Working closely with the account teams to grow business relationships with existing clients
Delivering unique, creative and tactical solutions to meet specific client needs and challenges
Serving as a primary external point of contact and managing internal engagement team to drive presentation, proposal and contract process
Leading and participating with senior management in client meetings and presentations
Identifying evaluating, negotiating and providing business case support, around corporate partnerships and alliances
Working on high impact strategic projects for the business (e.g., channel strategy, pricing studies, etc)
Supporting communication between senior level internal and external partner relationships
Evangelizing the benefits of search engine and social media marketing
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing, strategy and business development or sales experience preferably for an interactive agency, internet or media company
Proven record of building relationships with marketing executives at Fortune 1000 companies
Ability to formulate or enhance a value proposition, market strategy, and portfolio of products and services
Deep knowledge of the consultative sales process: developing leads, handling objections, negotiating, closing, and managing accounts
Search engine marketing experience a strong plus |
