Job Description:The Database Group Manager leads a dedicated team providing database support to Ad Testing in North America. The Group Manager develops and directs this team to maintain current databases, and to deliver data and analysis supporting Client Service projects, Product R&D, and Knowledge development. S/he is responsible for the quality and integrity of database content and output, and collaborates with managers in Data Processing and IT to develop and implement new or improved capabilities, processes, and deliverables to meet evolving business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage group operations to ensure continuous population of the database, periodic publication of summary norms and analysis to support client projects, and timely, actionable response to user queries from Client Service and from other Research Analytics teams.
• Plan and execute or direct statistical analysis of the database, reporting answers and insights in response to client questions and to support internal research projects.
• Advise Client Service in the interpretation and use of database reports and norms; provide expert guidance in query specification or data selection for internal development projects.
• Maintain current documentation of database processes and projects. Collaborate with Data Processing, IT, Project Management, and Global Database teams to adapt and improve database processes and capabilities to meet business objectives including database development initiatives.
• Develop and implement plans, schedules, and assignments for ongoing processes, development initiatives, and ad hoc projects; monitor and report progress against project goals, and plan future resource requirements.

Qualifications/Related Skills
• 5+ years experience with database operations and/or analysis for marketing research.
• MA or MS in a quantitative discipline such as business, economics, psychology, or social sciences with training and experience in applied statistical analysis; working knowledge of statistical methods applied to marketing research / survey data.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Access, statistical software such as SPSS, and SQL database queries.
• Proven success in team leadership, ability to manage multiple projects, and effective communication skills for research projects and general management.
