| Relocation: | limited | | Work Visa: | no | | Job Description: | Our team is structurally organized into two primary groups, a Business Analytics and Reporting team and a Program Development team. The Senior Analyst role will be responsible for expanding the Hyperion program under the Business Analytics and Reporting unit. This role will develop and implement new reporting tools such as Essbase, Reporting and Web Analysis across the division to assist management in decision-making. This position will work closely with the Program Development team and other business partners to help build an overall data warehousing strategy which will be the key in delivering one version of truth for all of Business Operations.
Responsibilities include:
Become a knowledge expert around company systems through business partnering.
Gathering requirements and work with stake holders to prioritize new deliverables.
Providing high-level analysis needed to identify business trends and understand variances to key business measures and goals.
Providing data in a meaningful and useful manner and ensure that all data delivered is accurate to support required decision making.
Assist and implement new reporting tools.
Managing and supporting existing cubes around Remorse Returns, Handset Profitability Reporting, Metrics and Inventory. May be involved in creating and developing additional cubes around Order Lifecycle and Transportation.
Requirements include:
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and experience in building Hyperion Essbase cubes.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server Integration Services.
Proficient in using new systems and software quickly.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Strong analytical skills and business sense combined with the ability to move easily between technical and business issues.
Demonstrated success in translating customer business requirements into reports.
Able to build successful working relationships with key players within and outside of Business Operations.
Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
Demonstrated analytical problem resolution and decision-making skills.
B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge and/or experience with some of the following are a big plus:
Supply Chain Management, Order Management, Transportation
Hyperion Essbase, Analyzer & Planning
Excel
SQL
