Job Description:The Associate Director, Digital Analytics partners closely with the Invention and The Exchange throughout the planning process to create the best media/cross media plans as well as in providing support for optimization recommendations. This role requires a strong familiarity with all available research tools, both syndicated and proprietary as well as a good feel for the relevant numbers. All recommendations need to be supported by quantitative and/or qualitative research and clients needs to be able to understand the arguments. The Associate Director is also required to work with client teams on developing strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and manage research projects
• Write POVs on industry topics
• Interact with junior level clients
• Support the client teams within the Invention and Exchange service areas in developing and optimizing plans and developing campaign strategies
• Evaluate vendors, technologies and new advertising opportunities
• Mastery of syndicated research tools and systems (e.g. Nielsen, Comscore, MRI, Simmons, EZtab, etc.)
• Mastery of proprietary Mindshare tools and systems
• Help staff with questions about syndicated and proprietary research tools and systems
• Supervise, train and evaluate Manager, Senior Associate(s) and Associate(s)

Job Skills & Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience and entrepreneurial drive
• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior experience working in an Interactive/Digital environment
• Strong understanding of relevant digital technology and emerging media space
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills
• Strong client services skills
• Solid financial management skills
• Complete understanding of syndicated research systems and methodology
• Working knowledge of (or ability to develop thorough knowledge) of proprietary Mindshare tools and systems
• Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong leadership and Strategic Thinker
• Vision for defining digital consumer insights
• Ability to articulate, write POV
• Detailed oriented
• Very good understanding of research design
