Job Description:The Role:
This is a tremendous opportunity to make an immediate and visible impact by leveraging existing
customer data to create actionable strategies which encourage customer retention and engagement.
By leveraging a vast amount of customer level data, you will conduct quantitative and qualitative research
and provide the business with key insights on customer behavior that leads to loyalty and profitability.
This role is a key partner and consultant to the development of customer marketing, communications and
incentive programs that are data-driven and impactful to overall customer engagement.
What You’ll Do:
• With your knowledge of customer behavior, statistical modeling and customer segmentation
techniques, you’ll contribute to the development of value-driven marketing programs that promote
customer retention and lifetime value.
• You will actively design and implement predictive models and analyses that increase customer
use of the BML products.
• Though the focus of this role is driving existing customer use, you are also encouraged to identify
new trends and/or opportunities to use predictive modeling and statistics to drive new customer
acquisition.
• You’ll continually explore trends in the consumer credit industry to create actionable insight, both
proactively and in response to sales and marketing requests.
• You’ll partner with multiple departments across the organization to improve BML’s analysis
capabilities on an ongoing basis.
What You’ll Need to Bring:
• Strong customer analytics experience in an online environment.
• Expert knowledge of customer data mining techniques and strategies for activation and retention.
• A flexible work style and comfort in a fast paced company where analytical thinking is core to
success.
• Extensive experience with large consumer data sets (100M+).
• Preferably have a graduate degree in statistics, advanced math, or similar analytical field with 5+
years of hands-on modeling experience.
• Database knowledge and experience along with advanced application knowledge of SAS.
